Enrolment Information

Thank you for considering enrolling your child at our school.

The steps to enrolment are:

Step 1: Establish your child’s eligibility for Preference of Enrolment. This is discussed with your parish priest. (see criteria below)

Step 2: Ring the office for an appointment to meet with the Principal, Karolina Surynt-Tapiki.

Step 3: During your appointment, you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. You will also be shown around the school and will meet the New Entrants teacher if you have a child just starting school. You will be given information about the purchase of uniforms and pre-school visits.

Step 4: Complete the enrolment form and return to the school. A letter will be sent to you confirming enrolment.

We have available places for students who qualify for a Preference of Enrolment Certificate, however the certificate must be obtained from your parish priest before enrolling your child.

Criteria for Preference of Enrolment

5.1 The child has been Baptised or is being prepared for Baptism in the Catholic Church.
5.2 The child’s parents/guardians have already allowed one or more of its siblings to be Baptised in the Catholic faith.
5.3 At least one parent/guardian is a Catholic, and although their child has not yet been Baptised, the child’s participation in the life of the school could lead to the parents having the child Baptised.
5.4 With the agreement of the child’s parent/guardian, a grandparent or other significant adult in the child’s life, such as an aunt, uncle or godparent, undertakes to support the child’s formation in the faith and practices of the Catholic Church.
5.5 One or both of a child’s non-Catholic parents/guardians is preparing to become a Catholic.

5% of our maximum roll may be made up of children who do not qualify for a Preference Certificate. However we have a long waiting list for these places. Please feel free to ring the school and discuss the possibility of your child enrolling.
